Krakow active in winter

Curling, commonly known as “a game of kettle ball”

From mid-December, the curling season starts at the Tauron Arena Krakow sports hall. This is the first and for at least a few years the only such place in the whole Malopolska region. Curling is a sport that anyone can try, regardless of age, shape, gender, or current fitness.

Two lanes have been built in the underground parking lot of the Sports and Entertainment Hall: one smaller and one full-size. They will be available from Tuesday to Friday between 2.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. Classes will be held in two forms: ticketed for individual users, who under the supervision of a trained instructor will play with other participants and in the form of an exclusive track reservation for organized groups. All curling equipment and accessories necessary for fun will be provided on-site.

Something to eat after the fun

A new winter menu has also appeared at the Arena Garden Street Food Market. Such delicacies as premium hot dogs, black pudding with toasted potatoes, schnitzel buns, and many other local dishes. Guests will be able to enjoy the new “selfie spot,” a photo wall with the slogan “Winter is here.” This spot will also be decorated with holiday lights, Christmas trees, and other winter accents.

Christmas market

On Friday, December 3, the Christmas Market near the Tauron Arena will also start. Local craftsmen will offer local delicacies, made candles, toys, and chocolate products. The grill stall will offer ready-made products for the Christmas table: borscht, mushroom soup, pierogi, homemade pate, Christmas salads, as well as sweets: gingerbread and cheesecake. During the weekend of 4-5 December, Arena Garden will host Christmas gingerbread decorating workshops, and on Sunday there will be a meeting with Santa Claus, animations, games and a light show.

Water madness in the middle of winter

If you think that the Wawel Dragon does not exist anymore, you are wrong. This huge three-headed creature watches over visiting tourists every day at the Water Park in Krakow, where, gushing with water, he is a real decoration of the bathing area. Extreme slides add an incredible dose of excitement.

You can also enjoy the sauna in the Wellness Club. In a huge exercise room, combined with a gym equipped with modern equipment, every day sports enthusiasts can run for miles on treadmills, pedal to the loss of breath, and flex their muscles.

Go jump!

Is it possible to have as much fun in the city as while away? Can we find places on the map of Krakow where the crew will take children under their care and creatively fill their free time? But yes! Among the possibilities of spending free time, there are such facilities as state educational institutions, sports centers, cultural centers, amusement parks, or playrooms.

What awaits the guests in a trampoline park in Krakow? So many trampolines that it’s impossible to count them all, and qualified trainers, who will teach guests how to use them to do spectacular tricks. Plus acrobatic trampolines, a sponge pool, and a giant airbag! A variety of themed activities where guests will have a great time.
