Cruises on the Vistula – admire the beautiful Kraków landscape
A cruise on the Vistula in Kraków is primarily a trip to the most interesting places in our marvellous
city. For one hour, you can admire the picturesque landscape of the city and see the most important
monuments from the side of the river.
The thrilling cruise starts right from Wawel. The route leads through popular districts, such as
Dębniki, Podgórze, Kazimierz and Stradom. Each of them has an exceptional history.
During the cruise, you will see many famous monuments and historic sites – such as the Na Groblach
square, which is referenced in a couple of songs of Polish artists. Another point on your sightseeing
map will be the popular Dąbie Barrage – a bridge from the 1960s and 1970s that connects two
districts: Grzegórzki and Podgórze.
The route of the cruise covers also the Powstańców Śląskich Bridge, which was once called the
Krakus Bridge. Apart from that, you will come across the Grunwaldzki Bridge, the Marshal Józef
Piłsudski Bridge and the Kotlarski Bridge. Each of these bridges has gone down in history and is
associated with an important period in the history of Kraków.
The cruise on the Vistula will also carry you through the picturesque Vistula Boulevards and the
Kościuszko Barrage. This trip will also be an excellent opportunity for you to see Karol Wojtyła’s
House and the Monastery of the Norbertines.
As you can see, there are many spots worth sightseeing. An excursion by ship on the Vistula is a great
idea to discover the beautiful corners of Kraków. The cruise is a fine alternative if you do not have

This means that from Saturday 13 June it will be possible to freely cross the internal borders of the European Union. Citizens of the European Union will be able to enter Poland without any obstacles, without having to quarantine.
