Auschwitz Birkenau tour information
Our day trip begins at the Auschwitz Birkenau Museum, located around 70 km from Krakow. Krakow to Auschwitz tours are the most popular among Polish and foreign tourists. People who visit Auschwitz are always left touched as this place is a symbol of genocide and horrors of World War II. Trips to the Museum are organised all year long, and it is possible to visit Auschwitz almost every day of the year. The sites of Auschwitz Birkenau camps are now a modern museum that honours every single person who died there.
On a day tour to Auschwitz, our groups join a guided tour with a professional English-speaking guide organised by the Museum. The exhibition of the Auschwitz I Museum takes up to 2 hours to fully explore. Then visitors proceed to the second site, Auschwitz II – Birkenau, where they spend from 1 to 1.5 hours. The two camps are located about 3 kilometers from each other. Our driver will be waiting on-site to transfer you to Auschwitz II. If time permits, you will have a 15-20 minutes break between the two camps.
On our private Auschwitz trips, you can choose whether you want to walk on your own, with a private guide or join one of the English guided tours. You can book private tours of Auschwitz in any available language in advance with us. Also, walking the camps on your own is possible only between November and March.
